Wilburton Instructional Center (WISC), 12241 Main Street Bellevue, WA 98005

This meeting will be full of interesting and important membership business, and we will also present an incredible Parent Education Workshop Leader, our own Sra. Candace Wright Burgoyne!

Workshop Details:  Have you ever wondered why a man, woman, boy or girl (your child/student) does something the way they do—and it’s SO not the way you might have done it? Have you ever been frustrated, baffled, overwhelmed, curious or understanding the his/her actions? Have you done one of the following things to cope: take it personally, have unkind thoughts (or worse), throw up your hands in frustration then do it yourself, or try to see where they are coming from? Have you ever hoped for more patience and compassion with others and or children? If so, you are human and in the right place!

Candy Wright Burgoyne (Sra. Wright-former kinder teacher & current substitute teacher at Puesta del Sol) will
be leading a workshop about the instinctual biological reasons for our reactions, our children’s reactions and
why there is a good reason for how we all react. Additionally, she will share ways & tools to illuminate those
instincts to be able to honor each other, have compassionate understanding for ourselves, our children, our co-
parent’s and all relationships in life.

About Our Workshop Leader:  Candy Wright Burgoyne is a certified community educator in partnership and understanding men and women. She uses this compassionate, transformational information with the students she teaches, her colleagues, in the corporate training world, and all the relationships in her life. She loves children, people, singing, dancing, Zumba and being an introvert! She loves spending time with her husband John and together they practice these transformational tools every day. She has over 10 years of background in researching, working with, teaching and coaching on these subjects.
