CAMP DESCRIPTION

During this camp, children will learn about the world through engaging projects that reflect cultural and artistic diversity. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that include art projects, games, dance, singing, and fun...all in the Spanish language, of course! Children will also participate in educational activities that will help them develop their Spanish language and academic skills during the summer. There will be new activities for returning students!

By participating in this program, your child will:

• Build on their Spanish language skills through a variety of engaging activities                           

• Strengthen academic skills in reading, writing, and math

• Experience cultures and traditions from around the world

• Engage in fun and creative art projects

• Grades:  Incoming 1st - 5th graders, incoming 6th graders also welcome
• Maximum:  40 students (20 students per class), minimum of 10 students per teacher

• Date/Time:  Full-day camp, July 18 - 22, 8:30am - 3:00pm
                    Half-day camp, July 25 - 29, 8:30am - 11:30am OR 12:00pm - 3:00pm

• Location:  Puesta del Sol Elementary, Room 301 - Sra. Delia and Room 302 - Sra. Forbes

• Cost:  Full-day camp, $380 (10% sibling discount = $342); Half-day Camp, $190 (sibling discount = $171).

• This is a Puesta del Sol PTA-sponsored program. Confidential financial aid may be available for Puesta del Sol students through the PTA. (Financial aid application is available online and in the school office.)  The last day to apply for financial aid is June 10th.
