Hello Puesta del Sol community!

 

Welcome back to school, and a warm welcome to the class of 2034! We are excited to see many of you back on campus starting next week. As we kick off the new school year, we hope to be able to resume many of our PTA events and activities, as health guidelines allow. We also look forward to welcoming Amity interns again this year!

 

After a year apart, the PTA's primary goal this year is engagement, in ways that respect and embrace our diverse community. Your acts of service through volunteer work enable us to support student experiences and activities, both in and outside the classroom. We ask that if you enjoy Art of Appreciation, Passport Club, Toymaker, Yearbook, and class events organized by Room Reps, that you will volunteer to help with one of our programs. 

 

Your generous donations allow us to provide student enrichment and educational activities such as library books, art supplies and classroom grants to teachers. We would love to have every family engaged in this aspect of our community. We ask that you please consider joining the PTA and encouraging others to do so.

 

We would like to see this year as an opportunity to rethink how we support our community and engage with one another. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, I would be happy to discuss them with you. We are your organization and are here to serve families as well as teachers and students.
