In Techventure Kid’s SCRATCH Code Club, kids explore how to design and program their own games and animations, using MIT's SCRATCH 2.0 drag and drop programming environment. Engaged in fun coding projects, mini challenges and a BIG PROJECT, students exercise STEM skills in reasoning, math, design and problem-solving.

Students are encouraged to collaborate and present their projects to others.  They also practice skills in giving and receiving feedback.

If your child already has a Scratch account, please be sure that kids know their USERNAME and PASSWORD.  If your child is new to scratch please go on-line to set up your child's account with them in Scratch as follows.   This is a free and easy sign-up.  Go to: http://scratch.mit.edu/, click on " JOIN SCRATCH"  in the top right, then follow instructions. Otherwise, we will help them set up the account during the first club meeting.
