Field Day is this Friday and it's going to be a BLAST! This is just a friendly reminder to ensure that students are dressed comfortably and appropriately for the day. There will be water play stations! Please consider that when helping them choose their attire and perhaps consider bringing an extra set of clothes or a towel.

Field Day Tips

Be prepared to get wet/muddy - There will be water play stations!
  • Dress comfortably and appropriately for the day.
  • Consider bringing an extra set of clothes or a towel and a plastic bag for wet/dirty stuff.
  • May want to wear water shoes or old shoes.
Wear appropriate shoes for your student’s interests!
  • If your student likes to play in the water, wear water shoes or old shoes.
  • If your student likes to run, we have a Track & Field section of stations, so your student may want good running shoes.
Participation ribbons are earned at the Track & Field events. For every 3 Track & Field events students try, they'll earn a ribbon
  • up to 3 ribbons/student.
Coach Hector has been working with his PE students a lot on Track & Field events this year. You may have seen some medals, ribbons, and/or duckies come home.
  • If your student likes both, wear old tennis shoes (that are okay to get muddy) and suggest they do the Track & Field stations first!
There will be Hydration Stations (for drinking water).
Wear sunscreen to school or bring sunscreen to put on - NO spray sunscreen is allowed at school!
