Dia de los Muertos & Chuseok

Learn about and celebrate Dia de los Muertos and Chuseok (Korean Harvest Festival). Student-led presentations, cultural displays, crafts and snacks will showcase the similar and unique traditions in our community. All are welcome! This is not a drop-off event. Annual Fall Pumpkin Bash

You are invited to the PTA's Annual Fall Pumpkin Bash, a fun family event at Puesta del Sol Elementary! Bring the whole family to PTA’s Annual Fall Pumpkin Bash next Friday, 10/25!  Fall is here and with it… all things pumpkin and fun! Our annual Pumpkin Bash will feature a Trunk or Treat, Games and a Dance Party!  So put on your costumes, decorate your trunks (and tents!), and bring your best dance moves to Puesta del Sol’s gym & back staff parking lot from 6-8pm on Friday, October 25th!   Admission to this event is free. Fiesta del Maiz: Puesta del Sol Family Meet-Up

Fiesta Del Maíz! Family Celebration and Learning Opportunity! Meet up with members of your Puesta del Sol community as we learn about Maíz! This new local festival will honor and celebrate maíz (corn) and Mesoamerican Indigenous cultures. The festival creator is a proud Puesta del Sol Dad! Please look for other Puesta del Sol families near the carousel at the playground at noon. Families are very welcome to attend for the length of time that works for them, but we highly recommend that you stay long enough to watch Danza Azteca, a local indigenous dance company. ALL THINGS PASSPORT CLUB!! Passport Club Kick-Off Party - Tuesday September 10th at 10:00am in the STEAM Rm. Please join us for our annual work party! Yoga Kids (Fall Session)

Teaching mindfulness, movement and self-care practices, one breath at a time. Join fellow Puesta del Sol parent, Teacher Melissa, for a fun and engaging series that will teach your child yoga and mindfulness practices through songs, games, and stories. Each weekly practice will include deep breathing, sun salutations, a variety of accessible postures, a peaceful meditation and gratitude circle.
