Big Give 2023

Big Give Update and our Fundraising Roadmap for the year! We are in the middle of the Big Give, our PTA largest fundraiser of the year! We are hoping to earn $70,000 and we could use your help to get there! We have 3 major fundraisers this year: Walkathon, Big Give, and the Auction. Our teachers have requested that caregivers picking children up at school have signs clearly displayed with student names written on them. Please put signs in either the passenger side window or on your dashboard. Our second Special Education Family Meet-Up is on Friday, April 26th, from 3:45pm to 5:00pm! School Food Share Program is Back!

Do you like the idea of less food waste and want to do an easy, quick job for the school once a week? Before covid, our students saved unopened milk and uneaten fruit from the garbage at lunchtime. We are so thrilled that this program is back at Puesta del Sol! The program is called School Food Share , and our school was one of the very first in the district to participate many years ago. Join GOALS for fun and engaging soccer classes for players of all age and skill levels! Who May Participate? Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican and Central American celebration of life and remembrance. Families and community members honor dearly departed with lively processions, parades and "ofrendas" that contain offerings of food, candy, flowers, sugar skulls, papel picado, day of the dead bread, and photos.
