Dear Families,
Welcome to all our new and returning Puesta del Sol Families! I am so excited for all of you to discover what our PTA has planned for the year. We have amazing social events in the works, new extracurricular activities, new volunteer opportunities, and we plan to devote many volunteer hours and considerable funding to our classrooms and our dedicated teachers and staff.
As President this year, I am asking our PTA to focus on Kindness, Joy, and Social Emotional Learning. The last three years have been full of changes and stress for our community. I believe that we are all ready for more kindness and joy as we continue to work through pandemic-related student difficulties and the wide-spread burnout that has hit so many of our adults.
Please join us in these efforts! Volunteer as you are able. Join or renew your membership to our PTA. Donate if your family has the capacity. We cannot do all the work we have imagined (and all we have yet to dream up!) without your involvement and support. Thank you for helping in any way you can and showing our children that they, their school, and their education are important.
