Resources for Watch D.O.G.S. Dads

When you arrive at school for the first time, you will need to:

  1. Check in at the front office with Monique (first desk on the left inside the front door of the office).
  2. Once you sign in at Monique's desk, grab a volunteer badge from the basket on her desk and head right back to the Watch D.O.G.S. station which consists of a 3-drawer, white plastic cabinet containing the uniforms (WatchDOGS T-shirts for you and your student), bulletin board containing a class schedule, and some coat hooks.
  3. Take a picture of you and your student(s) in the WatchDOGS T-shirts and email to the WatchDOGS coordinator, Tyler Parris, at [email protected].  Your picture will then be added to the WatchDOGS "Wall of Fame" in the school gym.
  4. Check your schedule to know where to go.
  5. At the end of the day, please place your WatchDOGS uniforms in the "laundry" drawer of the white cabinet.
  6. Upon leaving the school grounds, please be sure to sign out at Monique's desk and leave your volunteer badge.

  • Red Rover
  • Soccer
  • Jump rope
  • Tether ball
  • Spotting kids on the monkey bars
  • Freeze tag

More Ideas for Getting Involved

We are looking for dads who are interested in volunteering once a month or more at the school and attending some school and extracurricular events.  Sometimes that might mean helping out with a lunch or recess and other times it means volunteering for the Mariners Night, helping with Field Day activities, chaperoning a field trip, or helping host our own WatchDOGS pizza party.
