Join us for a celebration of the arts and culture of our Puesta del Sol community! Our annual International Arts Festival will showcase artwork from every student created in art appreciation lessons and a permanent art piece created by 5th grade students and guest artist Adriana Morales. The evening will be filled with student performances including choir, marimba, Flamenco and dances taught by our amity interns, as well as poetry reading and a flag procession.

Students in K-5 can join our fabulous interns Andrés, Karla, Josue and Jenny in learning a dance act from Colombia, El Salvador or Spain to perform on the main stage at the festival. Rehearsals will take place on Wednesdays after school, 1:30 - 2:30 pm, beginning on March 27. There is no cost to participate, though there are limited spots. More info on each of the performances is below.
**Parent chaperones needed!** Chaperones will help check-in the students, assist the amity interns during the rehearsals, and supervise pick-up. If two chaperones sign-up, they can share the role (alternate weeks).
Students in Right at School can participate in the Amity Acts.

The International Art Festival includes a flag procession representing the many cultures and heritages of our community. Students in grades K-5 are invited to join in the flag parade where they will walk a short route inside the school carrying a flag connected to their heritage at the start of the festival.
To sign up for the Flag Procession, please fill out this form, (one per family) Deadline is April 19.
Note: If your student cannot attend the Festival on May 22, they can still participate in a videorecording - please fill out the same form.
