Join us for some great storytelling, fun plays, creative crafts and tasty activities all in Spanish. We will be preparing Mexican snacks, doing arts and crafts, playing Mexican games, and presenting plays.   

                                                              

Two Camp Options:

1.  Spanish Camp for 3 - 5 year olds

This camp would be a wonderful way for your child to begin learning a second language or prepare for Kindergarten at Puesta del Sol.

  • Grade:  Pre-K or Incoming Kindergarteners (ages 3 - 5), must be potty-trained
  • Maximum: 20 students; Minimum is 10
  • Dates: August 10 - 14
  • Time:  9:00am - 12:00pm
  • Location:  Puesta del Sol Elementary
  • Cost:  $185 (10% sibling discount = $167).  
  • This is a Puesta del Sol PTA-sponsored program. Confidential financial aid may be available for Puesta del Sol students through the PTA. (Financial aid application is available online and in the school office.)  The last day to apply for financial aid is June 12th.

2.  Spanish Camp for K - 5th graders

This camp is geared towards helping incoming K - 5th grade students maintain and improve their Spanish over the summer break.

  • Grades:  Incoming K - 5th graders
  • Maximum: 24 students; Minimum is 10
  • Dates: August 10 - 14   
  • Time:  1:00pm - 4:00pm 
  • Location:  Puesta del Sol Elementary
  • Cost:  $185 (10% sibling discount = $167)  This is a Puesta del Sol PTA-sponsored program. Confidential financial aid may be available for Puesta del Sol students through the PTA. (Financial aid application is available online and in the school office.)  The last day to apply for financial aid is June 12th.

Terms and Conditions - Elementary Camp


Señora Pérez is a 3rd grade Spanish Immersion teacher at Puesta del Sol. She lived in Mexico for seven years where she taught preschool. She has her masters in Applied Linguistics.
