Here is the web team's division of labor:

Website Manager

  • Creation and management of online packets (see below for list)
  • Site administration and policy management
  • User administration and online directory management
  • Web reporting and analysis - provide reports to PTA Board
  • Naming conventions for website content folders, packets, and reports
  • Customer support
  • Delegation of web tasks
  • Ongoing website review with an eye to supporting ongoing programs
  • Support Web Content Team
  • Engage Web Technical Coordinator for issues and communicate issue status and resolutions to PTA Board

Website Technical Coordinator

  • Domain management and troubleshooting - Advise Web Manager regarding renewals
  • Email hosting and web hosting plan review and troubleshooting
  • System documentation
  • Web analytic reporting - provide reports to Web Manager
  • Review systems and seek alternatives when appropriate
  • Email management support as needed

Assistant Website Manager

  • Email management
  • Accounting corrections as assigned
  • Web report management as assigned
  • Other small projects or tasks as assigned

Website Content Manager and Content Editor(s)

  • Home page updates
  • Make content updates to all programs and events pages
  • Creation and management of web pages
  • Menu/web navigation management
  • Document and image management
  • Content, document, and image organization
  • Standards enforcement (privacy, branding, logo use, naming conventions, etc.)

Assistant Content Editor - if no assistant, then these fall under Web Content Editor responsibilities

  • Calendar updates
  • Weekly newsletter updates
  • Passport Club monthly updates
  • Community page updates
  • Other tasks as assigned

Programs Registrar
While not officially on the web team, the Registrar has administrative privileges in the website to manage these tasks:

  • Creation and management of online packets (see below for list)
  • Updates to content web pages for enrichment programs
  • Policy management for enrichment programs

Membership Coordinator 
While not officially on the web team, the Membership Coordinator has administrative privileges in the website to manage these tasks:

  • Review PTA membership purchases, look for anomalies
  • Upload PTA memberships to WSPTA database using OurSchoolPages membership upload process
  • Follow up on unpaid memberships with Deposits Treasurer to make sure notifications have been sent
 
Online Packet Management

Registrar Online Packets
All sessions of Drama Club, Math Olympiad, Spanish Outside School (SOS), Bomba del Sol, Tambores del Sol, Fiesta Latina, Salsa Hip Hop, Hands on Equations, Summer Camps, and packets for additional PTA-sponsored educational enhancement classes as they come up.

Webmaster Online Packets
First Day Forms, Directory Registration, Volunteer Signups, Donations, Walkathon Registration and Donations, Spirit Wear Orders, Yearbook Orders, Reflections Participation, Science Fair Registration, Drama Club Performance Tickets and Concessions, Int'l Festival Tickets, Mariners Night Ticket Orders, and other fundraising packets as requested (e.g. Cookbook, Amity Fundraising Drive, etc.)
